Woody Allen is one of the most prolific directors working today: he just had a TV series on Amazon after premiering his most recent film, Cafe Society, at Cannes, and he’s been hard at work on his next movie, starring Justin Timberlake, Kate Winslet, and Juno Temple. That movie hasn’t officially had a title until now, but it was recently revealed that the new Allen film everyone will have on their radars all year will be called Wonder Wheel.

The title was revealed by Mars Film CEO Stephanie Celerier on Twitter:

All we know about the plot is the setting, which is Coney Island in the 1950s. Which, for New Yorkers and anyone else in the know, makes total sense, since the title takes its name from the iconic Ferris wheel in the middle of the park. We also know, from set photos, that Timberlake is playing a lifeguard, which, among other things, requires a pretty great green swimsuit as part of his costume. Knowing Allen, it’ll probably be about love amongst a bunch of beautiful yet dysfunctional people finding their way in a big city.

There’s no release date yet for the movie, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Allen chose to return to Cannes to premiere it, so stay tuned.
