West Texas VA Offers Veterans Free Drive-Thru Flu Shots

The West Texas VA is going to be going all around West Texas to make sure every veteran in West Texas gets their flu shot.

According to NewsWest 9, all veterans will be able to get the flu shot, all you need is to have your ID and that you have been to the VA in the past 2 years.

Veterans will first be checked for COVID-19 then they will fill out paperwork for the flu shot.

Dates and times for the drive-thru flu shots in West Texas will be:

• San Angelo-Sept. 29, 5-7 p.m.
• Big Spring-Oct. 5, 5-7 p.m.
• Abilene-Oct. 13, 5-7 p.m.
• Midland-Odessa-Oct.19, 5-7 p.m.
