The National Weather Service has placed most of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico under a Flash Flood Watch until 7pm tomorrow. 

In what has been near-record year for rainfall in West Texas, we have more on the way. NewsWest 9's Meteorologist Damien Lee Lodes told us that the National Weather Service has placed us under a Flash Flood Watch until Thursday evening.

Locally heavy flooding may occur in some areas and after last months flooding that left hundreds stranded in flooded out cars, remember to 'turn around, don't drown'...or better yet, stay home unless you absolutely have to be out.
