Watch a Time-Lapse Video of Flooding on Highway 349

I had to make a quick trip up to Lubbock Monday afternoon and ran into some weather. Check out this time-lapse video of the rainstorm.

The cold front that moved through our area Monday brought heavy rain showers to the South Plains, especially around Lamesa. I shot this video with my dash-cam. You can see the line of storms building, getting darker then dumping sheets of rain. The worst of the flooding was between Patricia and Lamesa and visibility was down to about a 1/8 of mile in the heaviest of the showers.

No complains against the rain, just not much fun to drive in.
