One hundred years after women got the right to vote, UTPB's art and history departments have combined for a women's suffrage pop-up exhibit.

According to NewsWest 9, the display was created to bring awareness of the issues women faced getting the right to vote.

The departments got access to the Smithsonian's Her Story exhibit along with the National Archives Rightfully Hers exhibit to bring the pop-up exhibit to life.

With the exhibit being a "pop-up" exhibit that means it can be taken to other places such as any ECISD campuses.

The exhibit also explains that the 19th amendment did not give all women the right to vote, it took many more years for non-white women to get the right to vote.
