The fire in the Big Bend National Park has been fully contained.

According to NewsWest 9, the fires that were burning in the Juniper Canyon and Chisos Mountains of Big Bend have been 100% contained and all roads inside the park will be re-opened today.

Officials with the park say lightning was the cause for the fires in the two different areas.

All campsites will also re-open on Wednesday.
