Look, we’re already pretty pumped for the next Mission: Impossible sequel — with Christopher McQuarrie at the helm, both Rebecca Ferguson and Michelle Monaghan on tap, and all this talk of Tom Cruise performing his most daring stunt yet, we’re more than adequately excited. All these sneak peeks McQuarrie & Co. have been sharing from the set of the sixth installment are just a series of added bonuses.

After kicking production off in Paris, McQuarrie, Cruise and the rest of the
MI:6 gang moved the action to New Zealand, and now that they’ve wrapped things up there, they’ll head off to London to shoot the remainder of the film. The plot of the sequel is under wraps for now, but Cruise’s Ethan Hunt is joined by several familiar faces, including those pictured above: Ving Rhames as Luther, Simon Pegg as Benji, and Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust (easily the coolest part of
Rogue Nation). Also on deck is series newcomer
Henry Cavill, along with
Angela Bassett, Michelle Monaghan and Vanessa Kirby.
Jeremy Renner is reportedly sitting this one out due to a busy schedule on
Tag and
Avengers: Infinity War (not to mention his
recently fractured arm and wrist). In addition to the new photo shared by Cruise, McQuarrie offered a quick behind-the-scenes video to show off his crew’s dedication:

Mission: Impossible 6 (actual title TBA) is set to arrive on July 27, 2018.
