Texas Senate Names Chuck Norris Honorary Texan

Chuck Norris is now an honorary Texan and appeared in the Texas Senate Chamber to receive the honor.

According to NewsWest 9, Norris played the title character in "Walker, Texas Ranger" from 1993 to 2001 and has lived in Texas as well as supporting Ted Cruz in his Presidential campaign.

Norris, 77, was born in Oklahoma and has been in many martial arts films and TV shows in his storied career.

Him and his wife, Gena, appeared in the chamber Tuesday for the honor.
