Oddly enough, the answer to our question comes from Hawaii.

Brittany Mendez with Hawaiian Islands did some data sleuthing and put together a handy list of the most filmed locations in all 50 states.

According to Menendez's research, the NASA Johnson Space Center located in Houston has shown itself on the silver screen the most.

When you think about it, that makes total sense. Just think about how many legendary space exploration films have featured iconic scenes at the Space Center. Apollo 13 comes to mind, right?
