Texas House Passes Bill Reducing License Fee on Handguns

The cost of license fees are about to go down on handguns as tentative approval has just passed the Texas House.

According to NewsWest 9, the fee right now is $140 for a first time fee and $70 for a renewal fee, that is proposed to be lowered to $40 for both a first time fee and as well as a renewal fee.

The measure now needs final approval from the House before it can land on the Governor's desk.
