Cases rose by 7,677 cases on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, out of those almost 8,000 cases, El Paso had over 1,000 cases of their own.

The statewide number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is now at 950,549 with 6,068 hospitalized, and 111 additional deaths bringing Texas' total to 18,700.

The total active cases in Texas is 122,845, with 811,330 people that have recovered.

Midland and Odessa cases are also on the rise with 1,436 active cases in Ector County, and 2,503 in Midland County.

Total cases in Ector County sits at 7,379 with 123 deaths and 5,820 cases recovered.

Total cases in Midland County is 6,024 with 101 deaths and 3,420 recoveries.
