This off-grid Adobe dome-like cave in Terlingua- near Big Bend- is being compared to the home planet of Luke Skywalker; however, you won't find the technology from a galaxy far, far away because this AirBnB is totally off grid!

it does have some of the accommodations you'll need for a night under the stars; it can accommodate 3 guests- it has one bedroom and one bed, and an additional sofa bed.

The host notes:

A remote, off-grid adobe dome, powered by solar power, and near Big Bend National Park. The dome rests in an isolated but easily accessible off-grid setting in one of the few remaining territories under a dark sky ordinance, which offers unmatched views of the night sky, and a completely unobstructed view of a horizon that delivers truly majestic sunrises and sunsets. Though the dome is isolated, the entrance to Big Bend National Park is just a 25 minute drive and the historic Terlingua Ghost town about the same.

A dark night sky might just be what you need for a good night's rest!

There is no running water, which means using the bathroom will be an adventure. Showers at the dome are powered by outdoor solar bag showers, which actually seems pretty cool.

If you need to use the facilities, you must be comfortable using a composting toilet that is in a separate, and private outhouse next to the dome.

However, I imagine that if you're already into the off-grid lifestyle, this would be no problem for you! And if you're new to the lifestyle, well, maybe book this as your next adventure!
