Alright, SXSW, let’s do this. With just weeks to go before the start of this year’s fest, SXSW has announced even more additions to their 2017 lineup, including the world premiere of James Franco’s The Disaster Artist — the actor / writer / director’s new film based on the making of Tommy Wiseau’s totally bonkers cult favorite The Room. The programming team has also announced this year’s Midnighters lineup, featuring several intriguing genre films to play in the late-night slot (aka peak mind-melting hour).

SXSW really isn’t slouching with this year’s film festival programming (they rarely do), and today brings even more exciting additions to the lineup, including a pair of our most highly-anticipated films of 2017: Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver and Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire. The latest programming announcement also includes several intriguing indies, new films from Joe Swanberg and Evan Katz, and documentaries featuring beloved icons like Bill Nye and the Muppets.

This year's SXSW is just around the corner and the annual Austin festival has unveiled the massive lineup including Iggy Pop, the Strokes, CHVRCHES and Deftones.

Under the Radar just announced the lineups for three events at this month's South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin.

Seth Rogen was already planning on attending SXSW to premiere to first episodes of his upcoming AMC series Preacher, starring Dominic Cooper. Now Rogen has decided if he’s going to be at SXSW anyway, he might as well bring one of his upcoming films with him. The actor-director will premiere a “work in progress” print of his first animated film, Sausage Party, with a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd and more.

The alt-metal genre-pushers and Scottish electronic pop outfit top the bill at one of the longest-running events at SXSW.

Other acts announced for the three-day showcase at Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden include Ghostland Observatory, Lower Dens and Grizfolk.

Wipe your slates clean from the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and get ready for the next big one of the year: the South By Southwest Film Festival. The fest previously announced Richard Linklater’s latest ‘Everybody Wants Some’ as the opening night film, plus the premieres of Judd Apatow’s ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday,’ Jeff Nichols’ ‘Midnight Special’ and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s AMC series ‘Preacher,’ among a few other titles.
