We're off to Las Vegas! Well, not yet. I still have two performances of Summer Mummers to do. And I'm broadcasting live tomorrow morning from the Odessa Farmers Market. Oh, there's also post show drinks at an undisclosed-to-the-public location after tonight's show. It's not a secret because we don't want to be bothered by Mummers fans. Several months ago, I sat in on a Summer Mummers board meeting as they hashed out the calendar for 2015's show. Among other important dates, they set June 5th as opening night. That date has been stuck in my head for quite some time now...

I'm tired.     "Summer Mummers" opens in three days. It's an impressive...uh...I've lost my train of thought. Sorry. I just...I keep trying to think of words, but that seems to be an impossible task right now.     My normal bedtime is around 10:00 PM. Like a cranky todd...

As of this writing, it's May 29th, 2015. "Summer Mummers" opens one week from today, on June 5, 2015. That's great news for all of you Mummers fans out there. For us involved with the show, it's a mix of excitement, determination, and terror...

Before last night's rehearsal for Summer Mummers, I stopped by a local restaurant to pick up some food for my wife. As I waited in line, a lady started to pass me, but stopped dead in her tracks. She said, "I'm sorry, you probably get this all the time, but you're that guy, aren't you?"

The rehearsal process for Summer Mummers has kicked off. Where does the time go?

Well, here we are. This weekend marks the final two performances of Summer Mummers. Our 66th year is almost in the books.
