I was monitoring Facebook tonight when a bunch of post about how incredible the moon rise looked this evening. So I stepped out of the house and into my backyard and got a few shots that hopefully will do it justice.

I’ve starting carrying my camera around with me to get shots of things that I think would be of interest to you.  Yesterday I noticed coming to work that the moon would be just about behind a drilling rig near the office, so this morning I grabbed my camera and got some shots.
