Lightning myths can be dangerous. As severe weather season nears East Texas, the National Weather Service separates fact from fiction.

If you were driving between Odessa and Midland on highway 191 this morning, chances are you drove through this small thunderstorm. Though it wasn't severe, it did offer up nice video of lightning.
