Ok...before you go crazy and buy snowbird repellant or snowbird-proof your home. "Snowbirds" are those northern people looking for an escape from the snowy winter weather. Florida has always been a big destination for Snowbirds, but Texas is catching up.

There are so many stories of animals initially brought to a location as exotic pets and ending up escaping causing catastrophic results for native habitats. The python problem in Florida is a glaring example. Could kangaroos in Texas escape and gain a foothold in Texas?

KODM has confirmed that Carl Wayne Wiley has been taken into police custody near Comstock just moments ago. Terrell County Sheriff's Office says the Border Patrol picked him up. Details are still coming in at this time.
