Now that the finale of Sherlock Season 4 has turned into a theatrical event, it’s high-time we got some new footage. Thankfully, The BBC obliges with a dark new trailer for Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman’s return, complete with mysterious declarations of love.

Even if Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi doesn’t end up staying beyond the tenth season next year, we still have some super days ahead. Case in point, The Doctor is coming to New York and meeting a genuine superhero in the first official trailer for Christmas Special “The Return of Doctor Mysterio.”

We’re getting even more Benedict Cumberbatch than usual this week, between the release of Marvel’s Doctor Strange and the good Doctor’s first SNL hosting, so why not an Honest Trailer to boot? It’s Sherlock’s turn for the elementary roast, and you’ll never not notice Martin Freeman’s adorable running again.

Sherlock fans have had a long time to prepare for the idea that Benedict Cumberbatch’s ever-expanding career might not leave much space for regular seasons, and the upcoming fourth might mark a major endpoint. Cumberbatch suggest Sherlock Season 4 is “the end of an era,” and “pretty hard to follow on immediately.”

Doctor Who will keep silent for the better part of 2016, airing nothing but a Christmas Special, but undergo major transition in 2017 with the addition of a new companion and Steven Moffat’s retirement. Even more, Peter Capaldi has been asked to stay on amid all the chaos, but still isn’t sure of a Doctor Who future without Steven Moffat.
