Supreme Court Rejects Appeal Over Texas Voter ID Law
The appeal filed by the state of Texas over the voter ID law has been rejected by the Supreme Court.
According to NewsWest 9, Justices said they would not review a lower court ruling saying the law was discriminatory.
The law requires voters to show one of seven forms of photo identification which included concealed handgun licenses but did not include college IDs.
Tuesdays hearing has been rescheduled for next month in a federal district court in Texas.
