Stanton ISD Cancels Strength and Conditioning Program For This Summer

Stanton Independent School District will put the strength and conditioning program on hold for this summer after a staff member tests positive for COVID-19.

According to NewsWest 9, after the staff member tested positive, the district is now determining if that staff member was around any students and who they came in contact with among the staff.

Stanton ISD says they are in communication with health officials locally to ensure the safety of students and staff along with their families.

All equipment and buildings will go through a rigorous sanitation process and more information will be released when it is available.
