Stay Off Our Road, It’s Not A Through Street

This is going to be a stay off my lawn moment! If you have ever been to the station or even driven by you there is a road that runs from the 191 service road to 1788. This is a road for businesses out here to access our companies, this is not a through street and it is not there to serve as your shortcut to 1788. It is not a through street.

It is so frustrating for all of us who use this road to get in and out of our place of business. People like to use this road as a shortcut and a way to avoid the light at 191 and 1788 service road. People come flying through here at high rates of speed with no regard to the people who actually use it for business purposes. It absolutely drives me insane to be trying to turn in our road and someone is on my behind trying to haul through here.

The other morning I was turning in to come to work and there was a car right on my tail, so I purposely slowed my speed way down driving to the entrance and then came to a complete stop before turning in. Needless to say, the car behind me wasn't happy about it. He revved his engine and flew right past me. I am not the only one out here to do purposely try to force other cars to slow down or make them mad enough they would stop using our road as a cut-through. You wouldn't want the general public using your  private access your to your house or place of business as their own. If someone was constantly speeding down your street, you would be pissed.

Here is the bad part, we can't do anything legally because it is a private road. We could put speed bumps out here but I don't see anyone around here paying for them.

So please stay off our road if you aren't coming to one of the businesses out here.
