When you think of nudist resorts in Texas most think of Hippie Hollow in Austin on Lake Travis, and while most clothing-optional resorts and parks are located in east Texas, there is one right here in West Texas.

I know what you are thinking, where in West Texas could you have a nudist resort? Well down along the Rio Grande in Terlingua.

The resort is called Ocotillo Acres nestled in the mountains outside of Big Bend National Park.

Boots are required while going along the trails but nothing else is, it is a perfect place to go and get away from it all, even your clothes.

Cell service is limited in this area which means you can unplug, undress, and enjoy life as the Native Americans did centuries ago.

According to their Facebook page, they earned "Super Host" on Airbnb for the second time back in April 2021 and also got "Star Host" status on Hipcamp in January 2021.

So if you are looking for a different kind of place to go for a vacation and you are a nudist or nudist wannabe, this would be the perfect place for you to undress, unwind and get away.

If you have never gone to a nudist resort, you should really try it. I have always been interested in getting back to nature and enjoying the outdoors au natural.

If you are a shy individual but want to break out of your shy shell, this would be the place to get you acclimated to a nudist lifestyle. If you are already a nudist like me, now you know that you only have to travel a few hours to get naked with nature.
