See Video Of Permian High School From Odessa Texas Featured On The Today Show!

Heck yeah! One of our local High Schools from here in the Permian Basin was featured on the Today Show on NBC this morning! The school that put Friday Night Lights on the map was featured on a football section of the nationally televised morning show on NBC this morning.

The Today Show kicked off a new series they will be doing during Today Show every Friday. They are calling it Friday Morning LIghts, of course, a take on Friday Night Lights book and movie made about Permian High School.

• GO MOJO! 

During the broadcast, you can hear Hoda give a big shout and yell 'Let's Go Panthers!'.  She also mentioned that Permian are 6-Time State Champions and are off to a great start this year.  You can also hear her give a shout to the Senior Dance Team as well. The live shot also featured the Mojo Band as they prepare for Friday night's football game!

Way to go Permian High School representing on national live TV this morning. The Today Show plans on featuring a different high school team every Friday morning.
