Prepare to Wear a Mask if You Visit Marfa

With the increase of COVID-19 cases in the state of Texas, Marfa has mandated wearing a mask or a face covering.

According to NewsWest 9, Marfa City Council voted unanimously last week to mandate wearing a mask effective on Monday June 22, 2020.

Businesses will have to require all employees to wear a face covering or mask when social distancing is not possible.

Violators will be fined up to $1,000.
