Plane Lands on Hwy 302 in Ector County

A single engine plane made a surprise landing in Ector County this past weekend.

According to NewsWest 9, Sheriff Mike Griffis said a single engine plane had engine trouble and made a safe landing on Hwy 302.

Deputies helped control traffic so the plane could get to Schleymeyer Field.

No injuries were reported.
