Pink revealed she's taking a break from music to spend more time with her family.

While attending the 2019 CMA Awards with husband Carey Hart and their two children, the singer confirmed she's going off the grid for a bit. Though she's had one of the best few years of her career (recording new music and going on a record-breaking world tour) she's ready to take a breather so she can spend more time with her kids.

"Yeah, we did 2 1/2 years of [music], and Willow is back in school now, and Jameson's gonna start preschool soon, so it's kind of the year of the family," told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet.

It's unclear when she'll be back, but the "Walk Me Home" hitmaker also explained she wants to take a break to let her husband, who's a motorcycle racer, focus on his own career in 2020. "Carey has a lot going on as well," she said. "He is super supportive. He follows me around the world, and now it's his turn."

"He deserves a trophy [for being with me this long]! We used to make a big deal out of it, now we’re just lucky to be together," she added. "Isn’t marriage fun? Yeah, we fight for each other... There’s been so many [life-changing moments], I don’t even know."

Pink's music break announcement follows a busy year for the pop star, who not only released her eight studio album Hurts 2B Human but also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February.
