Phase 3 of Gov. Abbott's reopening of Texas began Wednesday (June 3, 2020) with increased capacity in most businesses.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the new executive order was passed down Wednesday and is effective immediately. It allows nearly all businesses in the state, including bars, to open at 50% capacity.

Restaurants can also now expand their maximum table size to ten people.

Current COVID-19 numbers as of Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Texas are 68,271 confirmed cases and 1,734 deaths.
