Permian Basin Fair and Exposition Canceled For 2020

Another event has been canceled in the Permian Basin due to COVID-19.

According to NewsWest 9, the Board of Directors stated on Facebook that the safety of the community was the highest concern and their priority in the cancellation of the fair.

"Our fair board’s decision was not easy, and we will strive to continue to provide for our youth, award scholarships, and carrying on the tradition of the Permian Basin Fair and Exposition," the directors said.

This year's fair would have been the 45th anniversary and was set to run September 4-13, 2020.
