Election Day is coming up next month for the July Primaries and election officials in Midland and Ector County are getting ready.

According to NewsWest 9, COVID-19 is making it a little more challenging, but election officials are embracing the challenge.

Midland County is ready says Carolyn Graves, elections administrator, "We’ll be wiping down any pencil, anything that someone will touch, we’re going to make an effort to keep them wiped off and clean."

They will also put up sneeze guards, mark the floor for social distancing, plus have hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks provided for all voters.

Ector and Midland County officials are recommend wearing a mask and bringing your own stylus or pen to touch the screens if you want.
