British TV personality, model and socialite Peaches Geldof died today, April 7, at the young age of 25.

Police were called to her home in England and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

"At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden," the Kent Police said in a statement.

Geldof, who is the daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, was herself a mother of two and was married to musician Thomas Cohen.

She began her career in the spotlight when she wrote a column for ELLEGirl magazine at 15 and later contributed to UK news sites the Guardian and the Telegraph. Geldof also hosted the show 'OMG! with Peaches Geldof' and modeled. Just four days ago, she attended the launch of the F&F clothing line in London.

As shocking as her death is to the world, it is unbearable for her immediate family.

"Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," her father said in a devastating statement (via Daily Mail). "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is," the heartbreaking statement continues. "Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

This is the second devastating death in the Geldof family. When Peaches was just 11, her mother, Paula Yates, died of a drug overdose.

R.I.P. Peaches Geldof. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
