Parents Wish Come True: Daycare Centers Are Now Open Even Though They Are Struggling Financially
The moment parents who have been in quarantine with their kids have been waiting for is here, daycare centers are now open, but some are struggling financially.
According to NewsWest 9, Governor Abbott announced Monday that daycare centers could start taking in all kids and not just kids of essential workers.
But some daycare centers are in a financial bind because of the limitations put on them by COVID-19.
Another trouble daycare centers are having is hiring staff. This is due to employees having to be fingerprinted for employment.
The company that is processing the fingerprinting in West Texas has all of their facilities shut down at this time.
