Odessa’s Jurassic Jungle Spray Park To Open This Weekend

The park that was supposed to open last summer is finally opening this weekend in Odessa.

According to NewsWest 9, the dinosaur themed waterpark has its grand opening this weekend after many setbacks last year kept the park from opening.

The Junior League of Odessa and the Odessa Parks and Recreation Department teamed up on the project and to celebrate its grand opening they will have a giveaway and a free showing of the movie "Jurassic Park."

The Junior League Jurassic Jungle Spray Ground will feature water slides, dumping buckets, geysers and jets along with shaded areas around the water park.

The water park is located at the UTPB Park and will open Saturday at noon.
