New Sports Bar Planned in Midland in the Old Britt Motors Location

Monday's Planning and Zoning Commission meeting ended with the approval of an alcohol sale and on premises consumption permit for a new sports bar.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the approved request was granted to Graham Brothers Entertainment to re-purpose the old Britt Motors location at 1004 S. Midkiff as a sports bar called El Guapo's Sports Cantina.

Roger Gearhart, representative for Graham Brothers Entertainment said a patio will be added alongside the original building as well as a kitchen added at the back.

The business will operate from 11am-2am, seven days a week and is expected to open by the end of the year.
