I have searched to find out what is new coming to the area, and here is what I have found.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, a new restaurant will be on its way to Midland next summer called "Fair To Midland" and will be a restaurant as well as a place for entertainment and drinks.

It will be located on Tradewinds Blvd. right next to Tilted Kilt and will feature a casual environment with a 8,000 sq. ft. patio with lawn and carnival games like cornhole, ping pong, and skee-ball.

The menu will feature a spin on fair food and Texas classics which Executive Chef Blake Keely expains like this, "The menu is something fun and different – there's nowhere else you can get fair food on a regular basis. I think people are going to love classics like the deep-fried cheesecake, or our twists on favorites like the cheeseburger egg roll and the doughnut burger," Keely added. "In addition to fair favorites, the menu will have healthy options like seared tuna and grilled chicken salads."

Also included will be two bars with one devoted solely to the patio and the other one will cover both the patio and indoor area with 24 craft beers, a full bar, and curated wine selections as well.

"Fair To Midland" is slated to open in the early summer of 2020.
