MISD Releases The Estimated Cost of Lee High School’s Name Change

MISD has checked the figures and has released the estimated cost of the name change of Lee High School.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the renaming of Lee High School and Lee Freshman High School could cost up to $3.5 million.

That is taking into consideration that along with a name change they decide to change the school colors as well.

Just a name change could only cost $1.8 million.

The school board is set to discuss the possible name change of Lee High School in its meeting coming up on October 18, 2020.
