MISD Bond Proposal Passes By a Very Slim Margin
Election Day has come and gone and one of the main things that voters had to decide passed by the narrowest of margins.
According to NewsWest 9, the MISD School Bond passed by only 12 votes. 11,560 For and 11,548 Against.
That is the closest a bond proposal had passed in quite some time.
Now Midlanders will be getting improvements to existing school building along with new campuses for Midland High and Lee High along with a third high school in the old Lee High campus.
No word yet on when the implementation of the school bond will begin.
