Mischa Barton Reportedly Hospitalized for Mental Evaluation

Actress Mischa Barton has reportedly been hospitalized following a display of erratic behavior, according to TMZ.

The former O.C. star reportedly draped herself over her backyard fence at her West Hollywood home and began “rambling about her mom being a witch, the world shattering…and Ziggy Stardust," and was clothed only in a dress shirt and tie.

The site goes on to report Barton fell off the fence and proclaimed, “Oh my God, it’s over! I feel it, and it’s angry!”

The former Dancing With The Stars contestant reportedly complied with firefighters and sheriff’s deputies, who transported Barton to a hospital for a mental evaluation after responding "to a call for a jumper or possible overdose."

Barton was previously placed under an involuntary 5150 hold at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center psychiatric ward back in 2009, after she threatened to commit suicide.

“It was a full-on breakdown,” she told PEOPLE in 2016. “I was under enormous pressure."
