Mike Leach Seeking $2 Million After Being Fired From Texas Tech
Former Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach is seeking a $2 million settlement from the university after being fired 8 years ago.
According to NewsWest 9, Coach Leach was fired because of allegations of mistreating players and insubordination but he is still fighting for money he believes he is owed.
Leach took his fight to the Texas capitol and to court but state laws protect state institutions like universities from lawsuits.
Mike Leach refuses to give up his fight with Texas Tech anytime soon, even though he is in his 6th season as Washington State University's head football coach and is currently holding a 8-2 record.
