Midland’s Summer Mummers Kicks Off 70th Season Beginning Friday

One Midland tradition that never goes out of style is Summer Mummers, which returns for its 70th summer season beginning Friday, June 1, 2018.

According to NewsWest 9, the show is called "Diabolical Deeds on the Diamond or Wait Was That A Squirrel in the Infield" and will run at the historic Yucca Theatre on Colorado St. in Downtown Midland.

If you have never been to Summer Mummers, it is a Vaudeville style melodrama followed by a traditional Olio.

Opening night is tomorrow (June 1) and the show will run every Friday and Saturday till September 1, 2018.
