Midland/Odessa Gas Prices Average Show The Only Decline in Texas

Gas prices in Midland/Odessa are declining while other metro areas in the state are showing slight increases.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, AAA Texas showed a decline in only 2 of the 27 metropolitan areas of Texas, Midland and Odessa.

AAA Texas shows a decline of 19 cents in Odessa and a 35 cent decrease in Midland from this time last year.

Odessa is still paying the highest average for a gallon of unleaded at $2.48, with an average of $2.41 in Midland.

The state average is $2.22.
