Midland Will Not Enact a Mask Ordinance Right Now

With Odessa considering a mask ordinance, Midland has decided not to enact one at this time.

According to NewsWest 9, Midland Mayor Patrick Payton stated in a Thursday press conference that he will not be requiring masks for now.

Payton is hoping the public will be responsible about mask wearing in public.

Midland Memorial Hospital will also be scaling back on visitors with the increase of COVID-19 cases.
