MISD has announced their fall plan for students.

According to NewsWest 9, the first four weeks of school this fall will be online as announced by Midland Independent School District.

"Given the level of COVID-19 transmission in our community, we will start the school year at home for the health and safety of our students, staff and community," Superintendent Orlando Riddick said in a statement.

School will begin on August 19, 2020 and virtual classes may be extended if the current COVID-19 situation persists.
