Midland Lee Football to Honor Cedric Benson This Season

The Midland Lee legend will have his number featured on the helmets of all players this year in memory of Cedric Benson.

According to NewsWest 9, the decal with his number 32 will be worn all year by the members of the current Midland Lee Rebel football team.

Even though none of the players ever played with Benson, the brotherhood shared through football withstands the test of time.

The Rebels will debut the decal during their first home game this Friday, August 30, 2019 against Smithson Valley.
