Midland Kids Get To See the City From 3,000 Feet in the Air
This past weekend some lucky kids got to see Midland from an airplane.
According to NewsWest 9, a group of kids got to see Midland from an airplane courtesy of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 123.
The EAA's Young Eagles program gives local kids the chance to fly alongside a professional pilot and see how the inside of an aircraft works and experience seeing things from 3,000 feet in the air.
The kids did have the chance to also take over the controls and fly for a little of the flight.
