MISD students will be able to get WiFi easier with the help of a bus.

According to NewsWest 9, teachers and staff want to make sure all students have access to the internet.

"We were very conscious of the digital divide that does exist, meaning some people have a certain level of technology and other people don’t at home," said Elana Ladd, MISD Chief Communications Officer.

Starting today (April 13, 2020), from 8:30 am-12:30 pm students can drive to or walk to the buses that will be in 6 different locations to get the internet they need to do their work online.

The locations are Bates Fiels, Valley View Baptist Church, MFD Station #4, Twin Oaks Trailer Park, Airline Mobile Home Park, and Cotton Flat Baptist Church.

MISD Has also boosted its WiFi signal around 9 of their schools as well as the bus barn.
