Midland Development Corporation’s Infrastructure Plan Moves Forward

The big focuses for the MDC are roads, intersections, and drainage systems.

According to NewsWest 9, the MDC met on November 4, 2019 and approved several projects.

These projects will be discussed for approval at the November 19, 2019 city council meeting.

Some of the projects that will be discussed are extending Wadley to State Highway 158, and extending Avalon to Business 20.

If these projects get approved, it should only be 10-12 months before construction begins.
