Midland COVID Cases and Hospitalizations Are on the Rise
After having only one case in Midland back on June 15, 2021, one month later Midland Memorial Hospital is seeing a spike in cases.
According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Midland Health is reporting active COVID-19 cases is now at 24 with three of those patients on ventilators.
That is triple the number of cases from the beginning of July and 24 times more than the cases in the middle of June.
Positivity percentage at Midland Health testing centers last week was the highest percentage since February with 42 positive tests.
The Midland Health Department reported 111 cases of COVID in Midland County, up from 73 last week and almost three times the 44 cases reported at the beginning of July.
Reports are coming in that the only people that are being hospitalized at this time are people who have not gotten their COVID-19 vaccine.
People who are vaccinated are only reporting mild symptoms and they are going away after only a week at best.
This means that the vaccines are working which is why I cannot understand why people are still hesitant about getting the vaccine.
The numbers speak for themselves, those who are vaccinated are not getting anything but basically the sniffles, while unvaccinated people are getting deathly ill and dying.
I got my vaccine back in April and have not grown a third arm or leg or have hair growing off of my eyeball or whatever other myths are being spread about people who have gotten the vaccine.
Get the vaccine now and keep yourself safe from getting put on a ventilator.
