Midland County Sheriffs Office Warns Midlanders of Phone Scam

Some phone scams are going around Midland claiming to be from the Sheriffs Office but don't fall for it.

According to NewsWest 9, the call says they are from the Midland County Civil Process Division and they ask for money or else the caller will be arrested.

They have been making the calls in English and Spanish.

Midland County Sheriffs Office says this is not them and to hang up and block the call and do not give them any money.
