Midland City Hall Closed Today (June 2, 2020) Amid Protest Rumors

Leaders have chosen to close Midland City Hall today as a precaution.

According to NewsWest 9, rumors of protests at city hall were posted online though none had been confirmed.

So as a precautionary measure Midland City Hall will be closed today (June 2, 2020) and all employees of city hall were told not to come to work.

Large crowds gathered at Midland Park Mall on Sunday and more gathered on Monday for a second night of protests, that's when reports of posts on social media about protests moving to city hall allegedly surfaced causing city leaders to make the decision to close.

No word if offices will be closed on Wednesday also have been reported by city officials yet.
