Midland City Council Holding a Hearing on Tax Rate Increase

Tax rates may be going up in Midland, so City Council is holding a hearing on possible tax rate increases.

According to NewsWest 9, the tax increase was discussed at Tuesday's regular City Council meeting and many residents voiced their opinions on the proposed increase.

The next hearing on the issue has yet to be announced but the budget must be voted on and approved by city council before the end of the month.
